From: Multimodal inverse kinematics significantly improves IMU-based biomechanical analyses
Overview of the simulation study. Reference data was generated using marker-based motion capture and a biomechanical model. Synthetic sensor data was then created from this reference. The IMU-based and multimodal inverse kinematics approaches were applied to analyze the data, and their results were compared to the reference to assess performance.
