Table 1 Estimates of degassed magma volume during the two unrest periods of 1988-93 and 2021-23, and quiescently between January 1994 - August 2021 and January 2023 - September 2024. The total volume of intrusive degassed magma over the period January 1978 - September 2024 is also reported. The mean flux during the distinguished periods with the standard deviation, the outgassed mass of SO2 and the fraction of magmatic origin of Sulphur is indicated. Uncertainty in the inverted volumes depends on the method employed to record the bulk SO2 flux in the studied period.
