  1. Table 3 presents clinical scores, including M-UPDRS total, M-UPDRS part III, MoCA, and PDQ-39 SI, adjusted for age, sex, and disease duration using the general linear model (GLM). The reference groups for comparison are listed in the first row: PIGD NA (left three columns), TDPD TA (middle three columns), and TDPD NA (right three columns). Higher scores indicate greater severity for all measures, except for MoCA, where higher scores indicate better cognitive function.
  2. B, beta coefficient; CI, confidence interval; GLM, general linear model; MoCA, Montreal Cognitive Assessment; M-UPDRS, Movement Disorder Society-Sponsored Revision of the Unified Parkinson’s Disease Rating Scale; NA, Non-anosmia; PDQ-39 SI, 39-item Parkinson’s Disease Questionnaire Summary index; PIGD, postural instability and gait disturbance; TA, total-anosmia; TDPD, Tremor-dominant Parkinson’s disease.
  3. * Two-tailed p < 0.0167, adjusted using the Bonferroni method.
  4. Two-tailed p < 0.0042, adjusted using the Bonferroni method to further account for comparisons across four clinical outcomes.
