The spin-split valence band of WS2 at the \(\:\stackrel{-}{\text{K}}\) point. The measurements were carried out using uncompressed XUV pulses in (a) and the helium discharge lamp in (b). Both curves were fitted with two Gaussian distributions and a linear background that give the same result for band widths and band splitting energy.
