The different components of translation can be illustrated in 4D space using the Schlingel diagram. The resulting translation \({T_{1,4}} \in \mathbb {R}^{4}\) consists of the Euclidean components \(T_{x},T_{y},T_{z}\) and the temporal component \(T_{\zeta }\).
