Flow cytometric analysis of changes in mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP) referred as Δψm are expressed as mean fluorescence intensity/cell (MFI) using rhodamine 123 as fluorescent dye. MMP was detected in intact splenocytes, control cells (Ctrl) and cells treated with 5 or 50 μmol/ml of silybin (SB), silychristin (SCH), and 2,3-dehydrosilybin (DHSB) after 24 h incubation (a, b).
