SC79 reduces AGE-BSA’s stimulating effect on ICAM-1 expression. HAECs were pre-incubated with different concentrations of SC79 for 30 min, and then they were co-incubated with AGE-BSA (100 µg/ml) for 24 h. The cell lysates were immunoblotted with antibodies against ICAM-1 and actin. (n = 3, *p < 0.05 vs. control; #p < 0.05 vs. AGE-BSA)
