The impact of pre-processing on the overall classification performance for Approaches (1) and (2) that are shown in (a) and (b), respectively. The AI models of the best Scenario 3 are selected to conduct this comparison over Fold 3: ResNet50 + ViT, Ensemble 1 + ViT, and Ensemble 2 + ViT. It is shown clearly the preprocessing stage supports the CAD system to improve the final prediction results.
