Overlay of extracted skeleton (red) from Micro-CT image showing tortuous crack and pore pathways in self-healing concrete. These geometries were used to construct finite element meshes and inform diffusion-reaction simulations of healing agent transport. The structural heterogeneity is clearly visualized, validating the realism of the CT-based model inputs.
