Synthetic route for the synthesis of N-alkyl/aralkyl/aryl acetamide analogues of 1,3,4-oxadiazole; reaction conditions and reagents: (I) 5% Na2CO3 soln., pH = 8–10, stirring for 12 h. (II) N2H4, CH3OH, reflux for 2 h. (III) CS2, KOH, reflux for 2 h. (IV) 5% Na2CO3 soln., pH = 8–10, stirring for 1 h. (V) LiH, DMF, stirring for 6 h.
