Radium Equivalent Activity (Raeq) for selected ElGara granitoid samples. Raeq values range from 110 to 430 Bq/kg, with several peraluminous Gh samples exceeding the UNSCEAR (2000) safety limit of 370 Bq/kg. The higher Raeq in Th-rich Gh granites reflects the dominance of thorium-bearing accessory minerals (monazite, allanite, zircon), linking radiological hazard to magmatic differentiation and heat-producing element enrichment.
