  1. Each model was run as an individual PERMANOVA, with infection being a binary state set by the reported cut off for percent tapeworm present in the sample (of all metazoan reads identifiable to phyla minus those identified as host). Each model was run 100 times on a data set individually rarefied to 5000 reads and the 5%, 95% and mean values of the model are reported here as well as the p-value.
