  1. When included in the model, percent of tapeworm is the percent of reads identified as tapeworm out of all metazoan reads identifiable to phyla minus those identified as host. Solid lines divide separate models; dashed lines indicate factors included in the same model. Species was included both as a factor in the first two models and a stratum term in the third model. Solid horizontal lines indicate separate models, while a dashed line indicates different factors in the same model. Models were run 100 times on separately subset (without replacement) data to 5000 reads, and the median, 5%, and 95% percent estimates are reported as well as the median p-value.
