a The commonest sites of metastases include the lungs (49%), liver (39%), and lymph nodes (37%). b Independent predictors of poor OS at the time of metastasis include age >65 years, poor performance status (ECOG 1–4), metastasis at relapse, and the presence of liver or peritoneal/pleural metastases. The presence of bone metastasis was associated with better OS.
