The mRNA level of RARB was also determined to validate the effect of RAR agonist and antagonist on the RAR signaling. c, d PEO1 and OVCAR3 cells were transfected with two RARA siRNA for 48 h, qRT-PCR and immunoblotting were conducted to determine the mRNA (c) and protein (d) levels of RARA/RARα and POLQ/Polθ, respectively. Measurements were taken from distinct samples. N = 3, bar: s.d., **P < 0.01. The relative amounts of analyzed proteins were listed under the corresponding band.
