The initial peak position is set to 0 and is highlighted with a horizontal dotted line. Peak position is seen to be mostly consistent throughout the full range of thicknesses tested. Variations seen in P5 are explored further in the main text and Supplementary Note 3. Error bars are formed from a combination of ± 1σ std. dev. from Voigt curve fitting and ± 0.25*CCD spectral resolution.
