The locations of 549 CDBG and HOME participating households in US Census tracts within the City of Albany, Georgia. The households receiving federal assistance are generally concentrated in areas with relatively higher electricity consumption per square foot and/or higher poverty rate, including many in Albany’s federally designated Opportunity Zones. Over 90% of participating households are at or below 80% of the area median income, which provides evidence of the effective programme targeting for energy efficiency.
