A large space is observed deeper inside the cavity, beyond the maleimide binding site, which would be the binding site of alkyl-chain of PPL and large side chains of amino acids. The gray surface represents the active site pocket of CcbD. Catalytic triad residues are colored black and highlighted red. Covalently binding BMOE and phophopantheteine arm are shown as orange and purple, respectively.
