Individual lipids are shown in rows and samples displayed in columns, according to cluster analysis (Euclidian distance was used and Ward’s clustering algorithm). The color gradient, ranging from dark blue through white to dark red, represents low, middle, and high abundance of a lipid. Numbers of replicates per group are provided in Supplementary Table 1.
