The indirect effect was estimated as the product of coefficients of the total effect of exposure on the mediator (step 1 of two-step MR) and the direct effect of a mediator on the outcome (MVMR), i.e., Product method, and the 95% CIs were calculated based on SE estimated using Delta method. The presented data is available in Supplementary Data 18. The details about the datasets are provided in Table 1.
