The reaction times for the right-hand button press were collected from the EMB (red data) and no-EMB (blue data) conditions into time bins aligned to the left-hand ca-button presses. A two-way ANOVA showed a significant main effect of conditions (F(1,23) = 8.061, P < 0.005, η2 = 0.037), and main effect of time bin (F(4,92) = 20.297, P < 10−13, η2 = 0.281). Embodiment of the left arm improved performance by the right hand. The black circles show the mean and the colored circle with the dot shows the median scores across participants. The box edges show the 25th and 75th percentile of the data and the whiskers show the data range.
