A discrete diffusion model was used to reconstruct the finer-scale geographical dispersal of CC4821 in the world. Point colors represented the sampling countries, and line colors represented the destination countries. Eastward movements are depicted by lines with an upward curvature, while westward movements are depicted by lines with a downward curvature.
