UMAP plots of ancestry-specific representation (left column) and phenotype-specific representation (right column) were learned from Disentgl-AE for the ADSP (top row) and the UKB (bottom row). We colored the points with self-reported ancestry labels (EUR: European, MIX: admixed, ASN: Asian, and AFR: African), demonstrating that phenotype-specific representation is invariant to the ancestry background.
