Reactions were initiated at the indicated concentration in buffer B at 28 °C (see Tables S1, S2 for details). Aliquots of the reaction were drawn at the indicated times and terminated by the addition of gel sample buffer. Samples (2.6–3.6 µg/lane) were subjected to SDS-PAGE and visualized by staining. Precursor, reaction products, and molecular weight standards (M) are indicated in kDa.
