The corresponding absorptance a is shown in (b). This example shows that even if the overall absorptance of a congruent arrangement of α1(E) and α2(E) is lower, its short-circuit current density may be higher in the end. The corresponding values of the parameters are Eip,1 = 1.75 eV, Eip,2,con = 1.75 eV, Eip,2,comp = 2.4 eV, and d = 68 nm, the others are the standard values listed in Supplementary Table 1
