Total structure factor S(Q) of as-cast Pt42.5Cu27Ni9.5P21 and Pd43Cu27Ni10P20 at 323 K. At low Q-values (~2.1 Å−1) only Pt42.5Cu27Ni9.5P21 exhibits a prepeak. The shoulder at the second peak (~5.7 Å−1) is distinctly more pronounced for the Pd43Cu27Ni10P20 alloy composition
