From: Optimized frequency comb spectrum of parametrically modulated bottle microresonators

A SNAP bottle microresonator (SBM) with parabolic cutoff frequency variation (CFV) centred at \({z}_{0}=0\) introduced at the surface of an optical fibre with radius \({r}_{0}\). The SBM is coupled to the transverse waveguide that pumps light at frequency \({\nu }_{{{\mbox{in}}}}\) and excites whispering gallery modes (WGMs). The SBM is parametrically modulated with frequency \({\nu }_{{{\mbox{par}}}}\) and generates an optical frequency comb at the output of the waveguide with the repetition rate \({\nu }_{{{\mbox{par}}}}\).
