Extended Data Fig. 4

(A) We obtained gene expression profiles of 1,699 tumor samples from children and young adults (<30 years of age) with 20 pediatric cancer types from the Treehouse Childhood Cancer Initiative and inferred levels of CD8+ T cells using gene signature from CIBERSORT (N = 1,699 patients). (BD) Kaplan–Meier analyses to determine prognostic associations of CD8+ T-cell estimates (CIBERSORT) in non-ICI treated OS (B, N = 71 patients), NBL (C, N = 153 patients) and Wilms tumor (D, N = 120 patients) cohorts obtained from the NCI TARGET portal (https://ocg.cancer.gov/programs/target). Values are dichotomized using quartiles in each cohort (high, ≥75th percentile; intermediate, 25th–75th percentile; low, ≤25th percentile) (log-rank test).
