Δmini effective gap proximity induced into Bi2Te2.3Se0.7, N number of ballistic channels carrying supercurrent, \(l=\hslash {v}_{{\rm{F}}}{(2\pi {k}_{{\rm{B}}}{T}_{{\rm{c}}}L)}^{-1}\), vF = 5.8 × 105 ms−1 Fermi velocity, taken from refs. 70,71,72, Tc critical temperature, W width and d thickness of the crystal.
  2. aΔmini is calculated assuming that ratio \(\frac{{\Delta }_{{\rm{mini}}}}{{k}_{{\rm{B}}}{T}_{{\rm{c}}}}\) is the same for all crystals.
