From: Strain-mediated phase crossover in Ruddlesden–Popper nickelates
a XAS at O K-edges for strained RP nickelate films. Dashed lines show the approximate peak positions for two main features: the pre-peak ( ~ 527.5 eV) and hybridized Ni eg-O ( ~ 532 eV) states by comparing with two spectra of reference samples bulk LaNi3+O345 and bulk Ni2+O46. b XAS and c XLD at Ni L2-edge for strained RP nickelate films, respectively. Linearly polarized X-ray were used to measure XAS of strained RP nickelate films with incident angle of 30°and 90°. XLD were estimated from intensity difference between I30° and I90°.
