Trend assessment from 1993 to 2018 for tide gauges along the U.S. southeast and Gulf coasts residuals are computed as the difference between the sum of the contemporary mass redistribution, sterodynamic effects, and GIA, and non-GIA vertical land motion components and the trend measured at the tide gauge. The vertical land motion component is inverted for interpretability. Uncertainty estimates represent two-standard deviations.
