HYSPLIT air parcel 48-h back-trajectory endpoint frequency distributions indicating locations of possible entrainment points of microplastic for samples collected a before (samples 1–3), b during (samples 4–6), and c after (samples 7–11) the passage of Hurricane Larry over Newfoundland. To represent possible MP entrainment locations, only endpoints with elevation <1000 m were counted in the frequency summation.
