From: Critical evaluation of faecal microbiome preservation using metagenomic analysis
Faecal samples from five individuals were homogenised and a total of 36 aliquots were taken from each faecal sample. Six replicates were flash frozen, and six replicates were applied to each of the five RT preservation methods, for a total of 180 samples.
