This tree was subsetted from a phylogenomic tree of order Nitrososphaerales generated with GTDB r202, rooted using genus Pyrococcus as an outgroup (see Material and Methods for details). Nodes with Ultrafast bootstrap (1000 iterations) support >95% were marked in black solid points. The 47 MAGs presented in this study are shown with red diamonds or circles, depending on whether the amoA gene was identified or not, respectively. Blue circles correspond to 35 reference MAGs from three other deep-sea studies added to provide context to our results [15, 17, 61]. Colored shading indicates amoA-NP-clades for the groups of interest based on Alves et al. [10].
