  1. Mean monthly summary statistics for comparisons between OpenET5 ensemble members’ ET and closed flux tower monthly ET19,20, grouped by three major crop types: annual crops; vineyards and orchards. Slope is calculated as the linear regression slope forced through the origin. Measures of MBE, MAE and RMSE include the error in mm per month and normalized as a percentage of the weighted mean closed flux tower ET. Note, there were three additional vegetable crop sites included in the combined crop group, which alone did not meet our data requirements for statistical analyses19.
