Gallium-68 (III) chloride eluate is mixed with the ligand under optimised conditions depending on the chelator chemistry. After analysis by reversed phase HPLC (RP-HPLC) or LCMS, the radio-pharmaceutical must be used within short timeframe due to the short half-life of 68Ga. (SPE solid phase extraction).
