In the hamster, there are also low to moderate numbers of necrotic single cells (arrows). Multifocal, epithelial cells in the nasal turbinates of ferrets (C) and nasal cavity of hamsters (D) are immunolabeled for RSV antigen (arrow) by chromogenic DAB immunochemistry. Bars, 50 μm.
