Free-running circadian rhythmicity and relative amplitude error (RAE) were measured in the roots of transgenic WT and lhy-10 plantlets harbouring (A, B) PttCYCD3pro:LUC + ; (C, D) AtCCR2pro:LUC + . All plants had been cultivated on half strength Murashige and Skoog medium without sugar (control; MS0) and entrained to 18:6 h light:dark cycles at 22 °C. In the stress treatments, either 150 mM NaCl or 300 mM mannitol was added to the growth medium before recording began.
