Each point represents the average of 3 assays (3 separate PICs). The response from each assay consists of the averaged signal from 3 control rings subtracted from the average signal produced by 3 capture rings. Error bars are ±1 standard deviation, with error propagated to reflect both ring-to-ring and run-to-run variance.
