In particular, we show the direct and inverse mapping pointwise errors, obtained with LDDMM9, SDF4CHD33, ResNet-LDDMM28 and AD-SVFD on a training (P#090) and a testing (P#278) datapoint. The errors are quantified through the forward local distance (FLD), expressed in cm, namely the distance of each point in the mapped geometry from the closest one in the target. For reference, the inlet diameters are 1.31 cm for the template shape, 1.21 cm for P#090, and 1.52 cm for P#278.
