From: Heritability and shared environmental effects of brain diseases in 12,040 extended families
The flowchart shows participants recruited through the digital survey of the Dutch Brain Research Registry. Data on family structure and the presence of brain diseases (‘family histories’) were collected for both participants and their family members (‘proxy reports’). Reports were included in the analyses if sufficient information was available on sex, age, and disease status. The final dataset included n = 12,040 family histories.
