(a) 16 kHz sampling of mains voltage and current using our sound card power meter from House 1 on 2014-09-03 21:00:00+01:00. The green line shows the current and the blue line shows the voltage. (b) shows histograms of mains power demand for each house. The five subplots represent the five houses in the dataset. There is some density above 500 watts but this has been cropped from this plot to allow us to see detail in the range between 0 and 500 watts.
