  1. The table reports the values of the simulated outreach index O obtained for the 4 cases FR, NL, FI, CA and for different values of the separating distance d. We use here different values of γ to differentiate the four cases of the simulation: γin is the network density within borders, γout is the network density outside borders and γacross regulates cross-border links between the inner and the outer part of the community.
