Females and males of Ericerus pela at different developmental stages.

The females develop through an egg stage (FE), first/second instar nymph (FF, FS), early- (FA1), middle- (FA2) and later-stage adults (FA3). The males develop through an egg stage (ME), first/second instar nymphs (MF, MS), pre-pupae (MPP), pupae (MP) and adults (MA). The red bar in the figure of each stage is 0.2 mm.
