Transport measurements of the device.
(a) Source-drain tunneling current flows through the suspended graphene nanoribbon device as a function of back gate voltage VBG. The back gate voltage ranges from 0 to 6.5 V. A transport gap is found from 0.5 to 6 V. (b) Coulomb diamonds measured within the transport gap. The largest charging energy exceeds 5 meV. The side gate is grounded in this measurement.
