Demographics factors were associated with DNA methylation changes in both PBMC and BEC.

Left-skewed p-value distributions showing an enrichment of CpG sites with small p-values suggested correlations of certain demographic factors with DNA methylation. This is in contrast to the relatively uniform p-value distribution of BMI and BEC, suggesting lack of such correlation.
