Intrinsic fluorescence spectra of WtAS induced by the binding of compounds 1, 3, 6 and 15.

WtAS (70 µM) was incubated in the presence and absence of equimolar concentrations of compounds 1, 3, 6 and 15 at 25°C pH 7.0 for 1 hr. Binding of compounds to protein was inferred by monitoring the intrinsic fluorescence of WtAS contributed solely by tyrosine residues. Samples were excited at 280 nm and emission was recorded in the range of 285–500 nm. Results are mean of three different experiments done in duplicate.
