Purity evaluation of chickpea secreted fraction.
(A) Determination of catalase-specific activity in cell lysate and secreted fractions. The SCCs were collected after centrifugation at 3,000 g for 10 min at 4 °C and cell lysates were used as positive control. (B) Immunoblot analysis of secreted proteins with anti-RbcL antibody. An aliquot of 50 μg protein was separated by 12.5% SDS-PAGE and electroblotted onto nitrocellulose membrane. Rubisco was detected using alkaline phosphatase conjugated secondary antibody. Vertical bars in the graphs indicate the S.E.
