Task-specific ROI-ROI FC maps were represented at P < 0.05 (FDR-corrected for multiple comparisons) and the purple lines represent the positive correlation between two connected ROIs. We observed a common closely connected frontal-parietal network in both groups during the FEKI task. However, English subjects did not have a connection between the left MFG and left SPL (from lv1 to lv4) or between the left MFG and right precuneus (lv1, lv2 and lv4).
