Lignin-binding strengths of eluted phages after each biopanning round (R1–R4), measured for CMWL and EMWL.

After each round, the eluted pools were amplified and diluted to a phage concentration of 109 pfu/mL. Absorbance measured without adding any phage was used as the negative control (N.C.).
